The Evolutionary Trends of Horror Explored in FanCon 2018’s Panel

For those of you who live in the Baltimore area, this weekend will see the inaugural Universal FanCon, a three-day event at the Convention Center that will celebrate, “…the diversity of fandom and the diversity of fans.” Featuring guests from around the world and across multiple media platforms, the con will see panels, events, and a whole lot more!

One of the events that horror fans who attend can look forward to is Saturday’s 4pm panel “Modern Horror: Evolutionary Trends of a Genre”, which will be moderated by Brandon Troy, co-creator and host of “Movers & Shakers Unlimited”, and feature panelists Jamie Nash (V/H/S 2, Exists, The Watchmen), Frederick Film Office Director Carlo Glorioso, who also produced Butterfly Kisses and The Woods Movie, and last but most certainly not least Spooky Movie International Horror Film Festival Director & Founder C.W. Prather!

The panel will look into the trends that horror has gone through over the years in an effort to determine what may be coming in future years. For more information, here’s the panel’s schedule page.
