The New Mutants Pushed Back Another Six Months?!

This is just getting ridiculous at this point… But yes, it seems that writer-director Josh Boone’s “X-Men Horror Movie” The New Mutants has been pushed back once again.

If you remember, the film was supposed to be released this April before being pushed back ten months to February 22, 2019. And now Deadline reports the film will premiere on August 2, 2019. That’s a whopping 16 months!

The New Mutants is directed by Josh Boone and stars Anya Taylor-Joy (The Witch), Maisie Williams (“Game of Thrones”), Charlie Heaton (“Stanger Things”), and Alice Braga (City of God). The film is set to hit August 2, 2019 (for now).

Synopsis:

A diverse cadre of teens are learning to cope with their superpowers. These new mutants find themselves held in a secret facility against their will and must battle the dangers of their powers, as well as the sins of their past.
