Washingtonians Art

Masters of Horror: The Washingtonians art (click to see it bigger!)I’ve heard “The Washingtonians” (review) was one of the worst episodes of Masters of Horror‘s second season, but man, how can you go wrong with a story about the uncovering of a secret society of people who exist only to cover up the fact that the Founding Fathers were all cannibals?

Somehow the combination of Bentley Little (whose story the episode was based on) and Peter Medak (director of The Changeling among others) managed to create boring, derivative tripe rather than a new horror classic.

Ah well, what can you do? Buy the DVD of course!

TV Shows on DVD got the first look at the box art for “The Washingtonians”, and it’s pretty slick if I do say so myself. Props to whoever is in charge of coming up with the box art for this season; so far all the covers have been really well done.

Features on this disc include a “making of” doc, commentary by Medak and screenwriter Jonathan Schaech, and something called “Wigs, Teeth and Power!” Click here to pre-order “The Washingtonians” through Evilshop!
