Vigilante Thriller Death Kiss Shooting in Northern California

No, your eyes aren’t deceiving you. Charles Bronson died in 2003, and he hasn’t been cloned or resurrected. Instead, you’re actually looking at images of Robert Kovacs, who bears an uncanny resemblance to the late Death Wish star. Kovacs is currently shooting a vigilante film in Northern California called Death Kiss, which sounds like something fans of the Death Wish franchise will love. Kovacs plays a vigilante with a mysterious past who arrives to clean up a crime-infested city, with very violent results. It also sounds a bit like Netflix’s “Punisher” show, if Frank Castle actually spend the majority of episodes killing people instead of being demoted to a side character and spending most of his screen time brooding in his man-cave.

Death Kiss also stars Daniel Baldwin, Richard Tyson, Eva Hamilton, Stormi Maya, and Robert Bronzi, and is written and directed by The Burning Dead’s Rene Perez. And if this year’s official Death Wish remake starring Bruce Willis ends up being a turkey, at least we have this to look forward to.

NEW ACTION THRILLER DEATH KISS, FEATURING DANIEL BALDWIN AND RICHARD TYSON, STARTS SHOOTING – FIRST PHOTOS RELEASED!
DEATH KISS, a new action-revenge feature written and directed by Rene Perez (THE DEAD AND THE DAMNED) and produced by Jeff Miller (CLOWNTOWN, THE RUSSIAN BRIDE), has started filming in Northern California and released its first production photos.

The movie stars Robert Kovacs (who bears an uncanny resemblance to Charles Bronson), “Baldwin brother” Daniel (JOHN CARPENTER’S VAMPIRES, HOMICIDE: LIFE ON THE STREET), Richard Tyson (KINDERGARTEN COP, BIG BAD WOLF), Eva Hamilton (horror fest fave RUIN ME), and Stormi Maya (PLAYING WITH DOLLS: HAVOC).

DEATH KISS concerns a vigilante with a mysterious past who goes to a crime-infested city and takes the law into his own hands.

Miller and Perez previously worked together on THE BURNING DEAD (aka VOLCANO ZOMBIES).

“Rene wrote a really cool script and always manages to get awesome locations. The movie’s gonna look big. We’ve secured a great cast, and I know this is going to be an exciting, action-packed ride,” says Miller.
