Tales From The Hood 2 Is Finally Heading Our Way!

Tales From The Hood

One of the slickest horror anthology films from the 90’s was director Rusty Cundieff’s Tales from the Hood starring Clarence Williams III as the coolest undertaker ever.

The film begged for a sequel – or a whole series of sequels – but nothing ever came to pass. Until today that it. Supposedly, yes, there is a Tales from the Hood 2 in the works!

The news broke recently when director Rusty Cundieff took to Twitter to say that he was “in New Orleans location scouting for Tales From The Hood 2”, but that Tweet has since been deleted. Interesting…

We’ll let you know as soon as we hear more about the upcoming horror anthology sequel.

Are you excited for another round of Tales From the Hood? Let us know below!

The original film was directed by Rusty Cundieff from a screenplay he wrote with producer Darin Scott and starred Clarence Williams III, Wings Hauser, Duane Whitaker, David Alan Grier, and Corbin Bernsen.

Synopsis:

A creepy mortician, Mr. Simms (Clarence Williams III), attempts to scare teenage drug dealer Stack (Joe Torry) and his friends straight by telling them four horrifying stories. One is about a guilt-riddled cop (Anthony Griffith) who goes crazy after ignoring his corrupt partner (Michael Massee). He also tells of a meek schoolboy (Brandon Hammond) with terrifying supernatural powers. Although the young thugs want to take their drugs and escape Mr. Simms, he still has two more tales to tell.
