New Stills from The Asylum’s 11/11/11 Coming 11/1/11

As soon as I write a story about a few new Asylum movies, they have to go and update their website with the first production stills from their upcoming horror movie 11/11/11, not to be confused with Darren Lynn Bousman’s 11-11-11, though I suspect that might be part of the master plan.
As I wrote in the previous Asylum update, “Simply change a dash to a slash and you get The Asylum’s 11/11/11.”
Jack and Melissa are frightened by their son’s bizarre and violent behavior; they soon learn that he is the gateway to the Apocalypse, and it will happen on his birthday, 11/11/11.
Jon Briddell (Midnight Movie) stars alongside Erin Coker and Hayden Byerly. Keith Allan directs from a script he co-wrote with Kiff Scholl. 11/11/11 gets the jump on Bousman’s similarly titled horror movie 11-11-11 (opening in theaters the same date) by about ten days, arriving on DVD shelves 11/1/11.
For anyone wondering what Darren Lynn Bousman thinks of all this, I have it on good authority he got a good laugh out of it when he found out. Why shouldn’t he? You’re not truly a successful Hollywood filmmaker until The Asylum starts mockbustering your work.
The Asylum has posted several stills from 11/11/11. I’ll be the first to admit they’re not terribly thrilling except possibly for the one of the birthday cake. Mmmmmmmm… Apocalyptic birthday cake …
