Attention San Diego: See an Advance Screening of IT!

We’re only a couple of weeks away from the release of IT, Andy Muschietti’s adaptation of the renowned Stephen King novel! Well, half of it, anyways. Easily the most anticipated horror release of the year, the film has been generating huge buzz and is thought to be a contender for breaking September’s box office opening weekend record. If it does, I think that’ll be a turning point for horror, one where studios realize that when given a significant budget, horror films can do incredible things that ones with lower budgets simply can’t accomplish.

Anyways, let’s get to the meat of this story, which is that we’re giving away tickets to an advance screening of IT in San Diego at the AMC Mission Valley 20 on Monday, August 28th, nearly a full two weeks before the film’s actual release date! This is a first come, first served situation, so even if you RSVP and get tickets, that doesn’t mean you’ll get into the theater. You’ve got to show up early, okay?

We hope that any of you who are able to attend will have an amazing time!

Stephen King’s IT has been rated R for “violence/horror, bloody images, and for language.

Jaeden Lieberher, Finn Wolfhard, Nicholas Hamilton, Jack Dylan Grazer, Wyatt Oleff, Chosen Jacobs, Jeremy Ray Taylor, and Sophia Lillis star with Bill Skarsgard, who portrays Pennywise. In addition, creature performer Javier Botet has signed on as The Leper, and Owen Teague plays Patrick Hocksetter, part of a group of bullies who torment The Losers’ Club.
