When it comes to movies that at one time got us excited but now give us headaches, 20th Century Fox’s Prometheus, you know that flick that happens in the Alien universe that may or may not be part of the Alien franchise, is way up there at the top of our lists just below Ghostbusters 3.

In any event, according to AVP Galaxy special effects maestro Neville Page (Cloverfield, Star Trek, Tron: Legacy, Piranha 3D and Avatar) is reportedly part of the design team of Ridley Scott’s Prometheus. At least the dude knows his monsters.

Prometheus stars Charlize Theron, Noomi Rapace, Guy Pearce, and Michael Fassbender. Look for it in theaters on June 8th, 2012.
