David Strathairn joins Two Sisters castSome more casting for the Guard Brothers’ remake of the Korean horror smash A Tale of Two Sisters has gone down today, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

David Strathairn (Good Night, and Good Luck, LA Confidential) has been added to the cast, taking on the role of the concerned but ultimately ineffectual father who tries to make his two girls comfortable when they come home from their time in a mental institution. He will play alongside Elizabeth Banks who, as we pointed out a few days back, has signed on to play the stepmother who makes their situation worse and worse.

Filming on the Tale of Two Sisters remake is set to start up next week in Shreveport, LA; neither sister has been cast yet but I’m sure that will change shortly.
