Mackenzie Davis to Venture into Suburban Hell in Vivarium

All right, this film sounds like it has the potential to be really interesting. According to Deadline, Mackenzie Davis (The Martian, Blade Runner 2049) will be starring in XYZ Films’ Vivarium, a sci-fi thriller about a family that gets more than they bargained for when they move into a new home.
Per the site, “Davis will play a young woman who, along with her fiancé, is in search of the perfect starter home. After following a mysterious real estate agent to a new housing development, the couple finds themselves trapped in a maze of identical houses and forced to raise an otherworldly child.”
The film will be directed by Lorcan Finnegan (Without Name).
XYZ is currently selling the film for foreign buyers at Cannes.
