If you’re a horror fan who happens to be a collector of vinyl, then I hope you know of the majesty that is Cadabra Records. They’re committed to releasing iconic horror stories from authors such as Bram Stoker, H.P. Lovecraft, Clark Ashton Smith, and more as spoken word records, each featuring amazing amounts of production value that separates it from standard audio book fare.

Today we’re giving you a taste of their upcoming release, Robert W. Chambers’ The Yellow Sign, which is taken from his 1927 collection of short stories The King in Yellow. These stories and their rich supernatural foundations inspired authors such as Lovecraft, who made passing references to them within his Cthulhu mythos. The sample features speaker Anthony D.P. Mann and original music from Maurizio Guarini, whom many of you might know as the keyboardist for Italian prog rock group Goblin.

The combination of the two will no doubt leave listeners haunted and unsettled! Mann’s theatrical narration is married perfectly with Guarini’s sinister, yet playful music, culminating in a treat that any horror fan will relish!

This release will be coming out June 16th, but only 150 limited edition early bird direct variants are available so make sure to get your order in fast!
