Two more one-sheets for Red State, Kevin Smith’s foray into religious terror, debuted today thanks to two incredibly generous organizations, and we’ve got the goods along with the details for you.

The flick stars John Goodman, Kyle Gallner, Melissa Leo, Dermot Mulroney, Michael Angarano, Steven Root, and Michael Parks.

In the film a group of kids encounter a crazed preacher (based on Fred Phelps, founder of the Westboro Baptist Church) who gives a whole new meaning to the term ‘extreme fundamentalism.'”

On to the goods.

The first new poster, “The Sons”, made its debut on PussyEatingClub.com with the following message from Smith –

“If you’re a movie website or film journalist and you want to feature this poster or use it in a story, don’t be a detail-thin dick.

Be sure to tell people WHY the poster was released: because Pussy Eating Club bid $1700 to The Kenny Gordon Foundation in less than 30 minutes.

If you also include the link for The Kenny Gordon Foundation charity in your story/article, you’re not only being a thorough journalist, you’re also helping to save actual lives – lives whose progress you’ll be able to trace via KennyGordonFoundation.com!

It only takes a few seconds longer to provide all available facts in any story. Including THIS fact can help save a life.”
