Looking forward to Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance from the Crank duo of Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor? I mean come on! Their frantic filming style in 3D plus Cage’s over-acting, coupled with whatever Cage’s scene-chewing hairstyle ends up being, can’t friggin’ miss, can it? I know we’re there.
The directing duo announced today via their Twitter account the following:
“principal photography on ghost rider SOV begins today!!! idris elba, helicopters, motorcycles, russian arm and the the Transfagarasanul…. HOLY SHIT”
Poorly written? Yes. Cryptic? Maybe. Enticing? HELL YES!
Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance stars Nicolas Cage, Idris Elba, Johnny Whitworth, Violante Placido and Ciaran Hinds. The movie finds Johnny Blaze, aka Ghost Rider (Cage), hiding out in remote Eastern Europe and struggling to repress his curse. Blaze is recruited by a sect to take on the devil (Hinds), who wants to take over his mortal son’s body on the boy’s birthday.
