Get Out Your 2007 Calendar…

PriestGot it ready? A whole assload of release dates have been announced all of a sudden, and a few are even for horror films! Check it out:

The Nicole Kidman thriller The Visting, which I just cannot find myself getting excited for in the least, has been pushed to November 2nd, 2007. Seems there are others who didn’t find it too exciting either.

The long-awaited but barely wanted Will Smith-led adaptation of I Am Legend, which has the saving grace of being helmed by Constantine director Francis Lawrence, will assault our eyeballs three weeks later, on November 22nd, 2007.

August 24th, 2007 will see the release of Eric Valette’s remake of One Missed Call, which you may have heard just added Gabriel Byrne and Ed Harris to the cast and is currently rolling down in Atlanta.

A week prior we’ll have been treated to Andrew Douglas’ Gerald Butler-led Priest adaptation, which we can only hope comes out better than his Amityville Horror redux.

That’s a pretty solid list I have to say, and thanks go to Tobe for pointing it out and Dark Horizons for listing ’em so neatly. All dates are subject to change, and more than likely we’ll see some moves before next year.
