Since its announcement, the Minecraft/Friday the 13th mashup-style game Slayaway Camp has left the gaming community feeling somewhat confused to say the least, but now it’s finally out on Steam, so you can decide for yourself whether the slasher genre can truly feel at home in a blocky pixelated world.
The self-proclaimed “bloody tribute to eighties trash horror” features an unlockable NC-17 mode and Gore-Pak” kill scenes. Mark Meer, who Mass Effect fans will remember as Commander Shepherd, and Derek Mears, who played Jason in the 2009 Friday the 13th reboot, both star.
Synopsis:
