New Short Mute Features a Tongue-Chopping Madman

Word of a new short film landed in our inbox this week, and up now is your first look at Mute, which stars Albert Bendix, a founder and artistic director of the Scandinavian American Theater Company (SATC) in NYC.
Danish star Bendix leads A Color Green’s directorial debut as the Mute Man, a tongue-chopping madman chasing three kids who stumble into his neck of the woods.
Mute‘s writer/director A Color Green is an artist and filmmaker based out of NYC, whose image often adorns BK street signs or SoHo doors. His first full-fledged film production under his self-created and usually cartoonish alter-ego, Mute is an ode to Nordic horror, shockingly and stylistically shot with a Danish guy gone mad in the woods of New York.
The short has played a few festivals so far, including FilmQuest 2016, SEVERED 2016, and Brooklyn Horror Film Festival’s BK Horror Club 2016 (where it made its world premiere).
