Onechanbara Z2: Chaos Slices its Way onto Steam

Shhh… don’t tell Anita Sarkeesian, but Onechanbara Z2: Chaos, the latest installment in the bikini-clad women vs. zombies franchise, has made its way onto Steam.
Although the series never really took off in the West, it’s hugely successful in its native Japan, where it spawned two live-action film adaptations, and can be summed up as being about half-naked women who slice hoards of zombies to pieces with katanas, with buckets of gore ensuing.
Only a handful of the many games in the series made their way Stateside, so if you never got the chance to experience Z2: Chaos on PS4, then this is the perfect opportunity to become acquainted with it.
Synopsis:
Onechanbara Z2: Chaos is the latest entry in the Onechanbara series. Two sets of buxom vampire sisters battle through over a dozen stages of high-octane real-time swordplay. Fight off the invasion in gruesome detail, occasionally transforming into a demon for short bursts of added power and speed.
Kagura and Saaya are schoolgirl sisters raised together by the Vampiric Clan and rank among their strongest warriors. Aya and Saki are assassin sisters descended from the rival Baneful Bloodline and represent their lineage with esteem.
Now, these four must learn to fight together against an undead army. Brought under one banner known as the “Zombie Punitive Force,” these blood enemies will have to reach a mutual understanding in order to save the world as we know it.
And as long as they’re working together, they might as well do it in style…
