Get Dismembered in Dead Space 2 Contest – Voting Now Live!

In early March we told you guys about a new contest from Visceral Games in which one lucky winner will get to create content for the actual finished Dead Space 2 product; and as of this morning, April 5th, fans of the game can now vote for their favorite kill from the top ten finalists.
To view the winning entries and vote, visit the Dead Space Facebook page. The finalists include three photos, six videos, and one text entry. The contest voting period is open until April 19th at 11:59 pm PST with the winner, as chosen by the community, to be announced on April 20th.
The winning dismemberment move will then be developed in-game and incorporated into the actual finished Dead Space 2 product! As a bonus, the winner’s face and body will be mapped to an NPC in-game to be torn apart by a necromorph, and the nine runners-up will also get their names in the game.

Synopsis:
In Dead Space 2 hero Isaac Clarke returns for another heart-pounding adventure, taking the fight to the Necromorphs in this thrilling action-horror experience. New tools to gruesomely slice and dismember the Necromorphs complement Isaac’s signature Plasma Cutter, empowering him as he meets new characters, explores epic Zero-G environments, and fights against a relentless Necromorph onslaught. Survival isn’t the only thing on Isaac’s mind in Dead Space 2 – this time, he calls the shots.
