Director J Blakeson’s adaptation of author Rick Yancey’s The 5th Wave is headed to cinemas early next year. If you’re one of those individuals who likes to know all of the behind-the-scenes details about a movie before it hits theaters, then you’re in luck. The folks at Sony Pictures have unveiled a featurette that explores the story’s journey from the printed page to the silver screen.

Four waves of increasingly deadly attacks have left most of Earth decimated.
