It’s been quite some time since we’ve gotten an update on Lauro Chartrand’s Blackburn, but now the news has come from production company 3B Entertainment that Archstone Distribution has acquired the rights for the action-packed horror movie under its genre arm, Tombstone Distribution. In co-ordination with the signing, Archstone has released a second exciting trailer for the film, which you can watch right here.

As for where Archstone/Tombstone will be distributing the film, here’s the skinny straight from 3B: “Archstone is our distributor in the US. They are also the sales agent for every other territory except for Canada, Germany, and the Philippines. For those three territories Raven Banner is the distributor/sales agent.

Blackburn‘s experienced cast members include Ken Kirzinger (Freddy vs. Jason) as “Digits,” Brad Loree (Halloween: Resurrection) in the role of “3Eyes,” plus horror genre veterans Lochlyn Munro (White Chicks) and Emilie Ullerup (A Little Bit Zombie) alongside Disney’s Calum Worthy (“Austin and Ally”), Sarah Lind (Wolf Cop), Zack Peledeau, and Alexander Calvert.

The film was directed by Lauro Chartrand (Born to Raise Hell) and written by Nastasha Baron (Kingdoms of Grace). Chartrand says of the cast and the film’s crew: “Blackburn has one of the strongest casts and crews that I’ve ever seen, and I’ve worked on dozens and dozens of productions over the past 25 years. I am very excited to be directing such top talent and working with such a passionate crew.

Synopsis:
Blackburn is set in a small Alaskan ghost town with a horrifying history. A forest fire and rockslide have trapped five bickering college friends overnight. Seeking refuge inside the abandoned Blackburn Mine, they must try to band together as they are mysteriously slaughtered one by one.
