When Resident Evil 0 was originally launched for the Gamecube in 2002, fans were thrilled to be able to experience a whole new chapter in the mythos that shed light on what happened before the famous Spencer Mansion Incident, as S.T.A.R.S. member Rebecca Chambers teamed-up with escaped murderer Billy Coen to survive another viral outbreak.
Fans will now be able to experience it again as the game will be re-released as part of the Resident Evil Origins Collection, which will also include the Gamecube remake of the original game, which was recently re-released for current consoles. The collection will be released on January 19, 2016, for PS4 and Xbox One and will cost $39.99. Resident Evil 0 will also be available to download separately for $19.99 in early 2016.
One of the new features will be the addition of “Wesker Mode,” where you play as everyone’s favorite sunglasses-wearing bad guy. Bring it on!
