Roger Avary to Direct Silent Hill 2?

We’ve all been waiting what seems like forever for some news, hell, any news, to break about a sequel to the big screen adaptation of the Konami video game, Silent Hill. Finally a little bit of news has seeped out.
The unexpected news came during an interview with Brett Easton Ellis on ChuckPalahniuk.net about his latest film The Informers.
The interviewer, known only as Dennis, asked Ellis if Roger Avary is still attached to direct Glamorama. His reply was enlightening to say the least. “He’s going to be shooting Silent Hill 2. As far as Glamorama, it’s just very hard to get the money to make it.”
Yes, it’s not much but at least it’s something! How much does Ellis really know? Will Avary break his silence? Will Radha come back as a monster? We’ll let you know as soon as we hear.
