Teresa Palmer Starring in James Wan-Produced Lights Out

We learned just a couple weeks back that James Wan is producing a feature length version of the spooky 2013 short Lights Out, which will be directed by the short’s director, David F. Sandberg. Today a star has been found so read on for the latest!

Deadline reports that Teresa Palmer (Warm Bodies) has been cast as the lead in Atomic Monster’s Lights Out for New Line Cinema. She stars alongside the previously announced Gabriel Bateman (Annabelle, “Stalker”).

The film, which starts production on Monday, is about a young boy and his estranged sister who are confronted by an evil entity that only appears when the lights are out.

Eric Heisserer (The Thing, Final Destination 5) wrote the screenplay and is also a producer as is Lawrence Grey (Grey Matter Productions).
