Mulberry Street is To Die For!

Mulberry Street review (click for larger image)Now this just makes me happy.

I have to admit, I was a bit worried about the lineup for this year’s After Dark Horrorfest (running November 9th-18th this year) since I’ve not seen either of the first two films announced, Nightmare Man (review) or The Deaths of Ian Stone.

But I have seen Mulberry Street (review) and it is reason enough to get your ass out there for this. Fangoria got the official word from After Dark today that the were-rat movie is now the third film to die for. Only 5 left!

Don’t let the premise fool you; though the movie is about a plague of people turing into rat creatures in the middle of New York, Mulberry Street is one of the smartest, most memorable and fascinating films I’ve ever seen at Fantasia, where I had the pleasure of viewing it with the best crowd in the world, and I couldn’t be happier that it’s going to be in multiplexes around the country for a full week!

If you’re going to be travelling a bit, you’ll still get a chance to catch Mulberry Street at Toronto After Dark, the Calgary International Film Festival and the one and only Sitges! Keep it here for some very cool exclusive stuff from the Mulberry Street premiere at this year’s Tribeca very soon!
