‘See For Me’: An Army Vet is a Blind Woman’s Eyes In This Exclusive Clip

In Randall Okita’s new film See For Me, technology is an incredible tool for helping those with a disability. A young blind woman works with a volunteer across the country with the help of an app called “See For Me”.

In this exclusive clip, you can see just how the app works:

In Dread Central’s review of the film, Tyler Doupé wrote:

See for Me is a solid effort in the home invasion genre that is rarely predictable. Once the flick gets going, it serves up nonstop suspense and palpable tension throughout.

See For Me follows Sophie, a young blind woman, house-sitting at a secluded mansion. She finds herself under invasion by thieves seeking a hidden safe. Her only means of defense: a new app called “See For Me”. It connects her to a volunteer across the country who helps her survive by seeing on her behalf. Sophie is connected to Kelly, an army veteran who spends her days playing first-person shooter games. She’s forced to learn that if she’s going to survive the night, she’ll need all the help she can get.

Sophie is played by Skyler Davenport, a visually impaired, non-binary actor. After permanently losing their vision in 2012, they didn’t let that stop them from pursuing their acting dream. They started in the world of voice acting, working on games such as Final Fantasy and shows such as Pokemon. See For Me is their feature film debut.

Kim Coates, Jessica Parker Kennedy, Pascal Langdale, Joe Pingue, George Tchortov, and Laura Vandervoort also star in the film.

Adam Yorke and Tommy Gushue wrote the script. David Di Brina, Adam Yorke, Matt Code and Kristy Neville served as producers.
