Erica Leerhsen (Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Wrong Turn 2) is set to star in Phobia, a horror/murder mystery to be directed by Jon Keeyes (American Nightmare, Living & Dying) and produced by Blake Calhoun (Killing Down, Pink) from a screenplay by Anne Gibson. Read on for the gory details!
You know what makes us happy? Reporting on a new film starring the still very much incredible Barbara Steele. It gets us especially happy when we report that joining Steele for the first time ever in a flick will be I Spit on Your Graves' Camille Keaton, P.J. Soles, Adrienne King, Heather Langenkamp, and Erica Leerhsen. We're talking four generations of scream queens here, folks! Does it get any better?
Only the power of Christ should compel you to watch the latest trailer for Erica Leerhsen's new Christian horror flick, The Message. Personally, I'll pass. I have enough people telling me what to do without Jesus jumping on the bandwagon.
We love us some Erica Leerhsen around these parts, and the trailer for her latest indie film Lonely Joe has us all smiles. You know, the type of smile that you get when you haven't eaten in like two days and someone hands you a steak dinner. Ok, getting creepy here. In any event get ready to take a look at things to come!
Yet another religious themed horror movie is on the way, this time with a less than subtitle title -- The Message starring Blair Witch 2 and Chainsaw alumna Erica Leerhsen.
James Zahn, the mastermind behind the forever-in-development monster mashup Death Walks the Streets, just dropped us a line with your first look at issue #0 of the DWTS comic, which is looking to be released very soon. More pages are below!
We all know a remake of Brian DePalma’s The Fury is in the works. To make sure we’re kept on our toes, though, we got an e-mail today regarding an Aussie movie being made that’s also going under the title The Fury.I gotta say this one sounds more interesting than yet another remake…
Now that post-production has wrapped on the indie film from Emmemax Films, Lonely Joe, it’s about time for the movie to be seen by the masses, don’t you think? To judge it as only an objective audience can?
Way back in November we knew that Michael Coonce's horror pic Lonely Joe had finished production, but then all went quiet (“ Filming Wraps on Lonely Joe” – November 2007). Then at last week's Fangoria Weekend of Horrors, those in attendance to the show were treated to a new teaser trailer for the film.
Despite, or maybe because of, the fact that most of Hollywood is shut down for at least another week, the folks at Emmemax Films are still working night and day to finish their first feature, Lonely Joe, which we gave you an update on a few weeks back ( “Filming Wraps on Lonely Joe” – November 2007).
Can you believe both Shawnee Smith (pictured) and Erica Leerhsen are being called scream queens now? I mean, sure, it’s by a trade publication, but it’s still kinda weird to think of Smith on the same level as, say, your everyday Brinke Stevens.
Word came down from the production today that filing has officially wrapped on the semi-inide movie Lonely Joe, which is unfortunately calling itself Saw meets The Sixth Sense, despite the fact that the plot has nothing to do with kids who see dead people nor cancer-ridden psychos.
