Casting News for Syfy's Haven

It was late 2009 when we last heard much about the Syfy series "Haven", based on the novella The Colorado Kid from author Stephen King, but today two names were added to the undoubtedly sure to be expanding cast.

UPDATED: Cast of the Strause Brothers' Skyline Expands by Two

Skyline, the next feature to be directed by brothers Colin and Greg Strause, has added another new cast member: Crystal Reed, who will also be seen in MTV's upcoming "Teen Wolf" reboot.

Gargoyles Rise This Weekend

Rise of the Gargoyles pits Eric Balfour ("24", "Six Feet Under"), veteran character actor Nick Mancuso, and soap opera actress Tanya Clarke against evil gargoyles that have grown tired of just sitting atop Parisian cathedrals and have come to life to terrify the "city of lights". You're probably thinking this sounds like the plot of a Sci-Fi Channel original movie. You would be right.

Ah, love. We really don’t see enough love stories in our genre, but that’s why we have movies like the upcoming Silver Cord; so we can be confused, not sure if we should see it for its horror elements even though it’s all about that most complex of human emotion. Maybe we can learn something?
