Eric Balfour
You've always wanted to see what it's like to be a horror movie actor, haven't you? Of course, we all have. Now here's your chance. The people behind the upcoming film Manson Girls, featuring Bill Moseley as Charlie, are auctioning off a walk-on part in the film. No hassles, no audition, no background check (okay, I'm going to assume there's probably a background check). Just win the auction, and you're there!
It's been several months since last we heard anything about writer/director Susanna Lo's Manson Girls, which focuses on the period leading up to the 1969 murders of nine people by members of Charles Manson's "Family", but finally production has begun with a half dozen or so scenes being assembled into a "sizzle reel".
Just where do vampires go to learn how to deal with humans on a day-to-day basis? Can't exactly head down to the nearest etiquette class or check out a local finishing school. Vamps have to be a bit more creative. Thankfully they have Valemont... a place that teaches the undead how to deal with the not yet undead.
With a title like Jesus Hates Zombies, we are definitely on board Eric Balfour's feature film directorial debut. As so is Mali (Do Not Disturb) Elfman, who has just officially signed on to produce the project.
Starring Eric Balfour, Iva Hasperger, Aarón Díaz
Directed by Kevin O’Neill
Distributed by Anchor Bay Entertainment
With the DVD and Blu-ray release date of next Tuesday, April 26th, for Anchor Bay Entertainment's Dinoshark rapidly approaching, we got our teeth into a new clip, this one focusing on the water polo attack that takes place in the film.
Excited about Roger Corman's Dinoshark crashing onto home video? Well maybe these two clips from the Blu-ray/DVD special features will be enough to chum the waters for you! Dig in!

Here at Dread Central we love anthologies, and the latest to cross our radar, Do Not Disturb, brings a lot to the table. It comes from five directors tackling five short stories - all tied together in one dark, humorous film about what goes on behind the door of hotel room 316…
Japanese submarine slammed two torpedoes into our side, Chief. We was comin' back from the island of Tinian to Leyte ... just delivered the bomb. The Hiroshima bomb. Eleven hundred men went into the water. Vessel went down in 12 minutes. Didn't see the first shark for about a half an hour. Dino. 100-footer.

We haven't talked much about the Syfy series "Haven" lately, but it's gearing up for a Season Two start this summer so of course some guest casting news has popped up.
Starring Eric Balfour, Scottie Thompson, Brittany Daniel, Crystal Reed, Neil Hopkins, David Zayas, Donald Faison
On November 12, 2010, Visual FX masters Colin and Greg Strause (AVP: REQUIEM) will unleash their second film, the alien invasion spectacle, SKYLINE, upon an almost unsuspecting public.
These days big budget films are a staple of movie-going fare. Big stars, huge budgets, and giant “event” pictures are given wide release and fill cineplexes around the world. For decades it has been the formula that has fueled what many refer to as “Hollywood.” But times are changing. Technology is seeing to that.
After teasing us for a better part of the year, the alien invasion spectacle from the Visual FX mavens Colin and Greg Strause is finally out in theaters, and we've got our official review and more locked and loaded.
