Emmy Awards 10
The 62nd Primetime Emmy Awards are off and running with host Jimmy Fallon, and we'll be keeping tabs on which, if any, of the horror-themed nominees are taking home the gold. Keep it here for regular updates as events unfold. With just "Dexter" and "True Blood" representing the genre in its purest form, we'll also include "Lost" news since we know a lot of our readers (and staff) are fans of the show, final episode notwithstanding.
Early Emmy Awards were handed out Saturday night, August 21st, in what's known as the Creative Arts ceremony, which precedes the main Emmy show taking place next Sunday, August 29th; and a genre fave was one of the lucky winners.
Per usual, horror didn't make a particularly strong showing during the announcement of the nominees for 2010 Emmys, but a couple of fan favorites made the cut once again and several stars that we call our own were recognized as well.
