Sometimes, you realize just how over it you are, like Emile Hirsch’s character in the new film Walden. Hirsch plays the titular Walden who, after a life-changing event, finally lets his rage bubble over. And while we’re supposed to contain our emotions even in the face of injustice, Hirsch gets to enact that revenge fantasy in his latest role.

Walden Dean is a stenographer, whose mind witnessed all types of injustices in the courtroom. After discovering he has a terminal illness, repressed anger deep within him surfaces – taking justice into his own hands in the most gruesome ways imaginable.
