We've all been waiting patiently for Relativity Media's The House at the End of the Street to come our way (if only for the cool throwback of a title), and it looks like we're going to be waiting a couple of months longer.

Now that the blood and boobs extravaganza Piranha 3D (review here) has had a few weeks to settle into the multiplexes for a hopefully nice long end-of-summer run, the final piece of the puzzle has arrived: Trembles' Motion Picture Purgatory take on the flick. Piranha 3D is directed by Alexandre Aja and stars Elisabeth Shue, Ving Rhames, Jerry O'Connell, Kelly Brook, Riley Steele, Steven R. McQueen, Jessica Szohr, Paul Scheer, Adam Scott, Christopher Lloyd, and Richard Dreyfuss.

If there's any justice in this world, people will head out to theatres to see Piranha 3D (review here) in droves along with The Last Exorcism. If not, Ving Rhames is gonna go medieval on yo' asses!

Now that Piranha 3D (review here) has been released to the public to chomp on boobies and other appendages, we thought we'd take a look back on how it begin, filming and all, and have broken it down for you so that you can find every toothy bit of information you need in one blood-soaked location.

We don't know about you guys, but in a year riddled with cinematic disappointments, for us the time has definitely come for some fun. If our Piranha 3D review is any indication of what's in store for us this weekend, that's exactly what we're going to get with Alexandre Aja's Piranha 3D!

It was 35 years ago that Jaws had people legitimately frightened of swimming in the ocean out of fear of being eaten by a great white shark. Just 24 hours out from the release of Piranha 3D, it seems there is some alarm in the community of Lake Havasu, where the movie was shot, that their tourism might take a hit if some foolish people out there become convinced their lakes truly are home to man-eating fish. You can't make this stuff up.

This Friday Piranha 3D will be unleashed onto the summer movie audience, and it looks to send out the season on one hell of a big boob-laden, bloody bang. Recently we sat down for some exclusive interviews with the cast and crew to prime you guys for the mayhem to come! Dig it!

Elisabeth Shue is embarking on what will hopefully be a very good run in our genre (and we're glad to have her) what with Piranha right around the corner and this recent announcement that she's not done with the horror biz just yet.

Never mind Linda Hamilton. To hell with Kate Beckinsale. Angelina Jolie be damned! Piranha star Elisabeth Shue will twist you thin little lassies up into knots using nothing but her sheer brute strength!
