Hostel: Part III is a strange animal. It disappears off of everyone's radar for almost a year, then pops back up with a rating from the MPAA, and now word has it around the industry that we could see the flick on DVD and Blu-ray this December.
It's been a long while since last we heard anything regarding Hostel Part III. In fact, to be honest, we kind of forgot about it. However, we guess Sony is getting ready to remind us because the flick has gone before the MPAA and come back with a rating!

Undoubtedly the modern independent horror landscape would be a very different place had Lloyd Kaufman and Michael Herz not taken a gamble on making a horror film in the 1980s. Kaufman, seeing the potential to reach horror fans everywhere, unleashed The Toxic Avenger in 1985, and the horror world has been a very different place ever since Toxie hit the streets.
We're not exactly sure how Dread worthy the following bit of news is, but given the talent involved, it's at the very least worth an initial mention.

Earlier today we announced the DVD and Blu-ray release of Daniel Stamm's The Last Exorcism (review here), and while the movie itself is certainly spooky enough, apparently the making of the special features on the disc itself is even scarier.
