From the Press Release:
Edward the Damned is a short film based on the macabre old English tale of Edward Mordrake.

A modern retelling of Edward Mordrake a man who has spent his life hiding something from the world beneath his wig. Unable to continue to hide his demon from the people around him, today his dark secret is finally going to see the light of day. This story isn’t a standard three act structure or a hero’s journey, it’s more of an unfolding. With each scene the audience gets teased with a little more information building to an unforgettable reveal. Although the origin of the story has been lost to time Edward the Damned brings new life to this woebegone story.

The short was shot over the course of four days. With a crew of only two people, a camera operator/director and a sound technician/boom operator and a cast of four local London actors. A passion project from its inception, this short had an amazing film festival run becoming an official selection for some of the finest film festivals and taking home multiple awards including:

• Sunset Film Festival Los Angeles – 1st Place Short Film Category
• Famous Monsters Film Fest – 1st Place Short Film Category
• Hollywood Horror Fest – Best Short Script
• LA Indie Film Fest – Winner Jury Award | Best Short Film Special Effects

Now for the first time Edward the Damned is available to view online. The filmmakers are proud to release our spin on the freakish story of Edward Mordrake for a wider audience to enjoy.
