    New Edges of Darkness Trailer

Jason Horton's zombie/vampire anthology has been one of the indie films I've been looking forward to for some time now. Recently we informed you that the picture is now ready to roll out to distributors (“Edges of Darkness Complete!” – February 2008) and now a new trailer has been created as well! Check it out below.

    Edges of Darkness Complete!

Way back last year was the last time we had any news on Jason Horton's zombie anthology, Edges of Darkness. We knew that the film had entered post production, but the trail went cold after that (“Edges of Darkness Tease Us” – June 2007). Then out of nowhere came an e-mail from the director himself with an exciting update.

    Edges Of Darkness Tease Us

Jason Horton, director of the upcoming zombie/vampire film Edges of Darkness, dropped us a line today with a link to the film's MySpace page. Over there horror fans will be treated to a few new teaser scenes.

    Edges Of Darkness Creeps Forward

We need more zombie movies. More zombie movies with some vampires thrown in! Let's focus less on silly teen thrillers or madmen in masks and concentrate our efforts on some good, old fashioned undead mania. This kind of combo is rarely seen in the horror genre today, and luckily some folks are ready to take a chance with it.

    Zombie Anthology Darkness Wraps

Versatile (and incredibly busy) indie actor Lee Perkins (KatieBird: Certifiable Crazy Person) just dropped us a line with the good news that production on the anthology Edges of Darkness has wrapped! He was also kind enough to send us the shot of himself (in the role of a priest battling the Antichrist), which you can click on to see much bigger.

    Lee Perkins' Massive Indie Slate

There are really only two ways to make it acting, I think, pretty much the same as the two ways to make it in music; work your ass off day and night and do whatever is handed to you in the hopes that someone, someday will give you your "big break", or get discovered early on by some bigwig director and become the next Collin Farrell, who for a while was in everything and no one knew why.
