Nothing to Do This Weekend? Check Out Dusk: Improvised Tween Erotica in NYC

Dusk: Improvised Tween EroticaThis weekend the folks at The Tank, a non-profit arts center in Hell’s Kitchen, are presenting the improvisational comedy show that is Dusk: Improvised Tween Erotica, a parody of the Twilight films (which are, of course, a favorite of all you guys out there in Dread Central-land).

When it first opened in October, 2009, Dusk sold out The Salvage Vanguard Theater in Austin, Texas, proving that even alternative comedy audiences are hungry for vampire romance. The show features smart comedy, incisive storytelling, and highly attractive people never consummating their most molten passions.

I can’t think of a better thing to do this weekend than see sparklie vamps get their due in front of a live audience. I wonder if we are allowed to throw things and heckle? Join me there, or admit to your friends you really do like Twilight.
