If you happened to miss Drive Angry 3D when it hit theaters this past February, now you’ll have an opportunity to right that wrong as the explosive flick is finally hitting DVD and Blu-ray shelves on Tuesday, May 31st.
If there's any justice in this universe, Drive Angry will find its audience when it comes home to Blu-ray and DVD in May. Read on for the details.
Ring the dinner bell because Dinner For Fiends is back for a jam-packed feature length episode filled with everything from thoughtful to heated discussion.
Judging by the box office of the past two weeks, I'm beginning to think that if Nic Cage wants to jumpstart his career, he's going to have to star in a Twilight wannabe like Beastly. Cage's quirky mannerisms would be a plus playing some dreamy beasty, although his romancing of a quirky teenage girl would probably be considered a felony in most states.
We hear you loud and clear. You don't have the extra cash to shell out to go to the movies. Maybe you're tired of spending higher admission prices for 3D films. Can't blame you there. But most of us here at DC stand behind Drive Angry, and we think if you took the time to go, you probably would, too.
The R-rated shot-in-3D romp that sees Nic Cage as an escapee from hell trying to save a baby from rock-a-billy occultists, raising his own hell in a hot rod with a hot blonde, pursued by a hellish "accountant" determined to return him to his infernal punishment, only grossed a pitiful $5 million for the weekend, barely even making it across the finish line at 9th place.
Since the much anticipated Drive Angry 3D is coming out in theaters this week, we wanted to make that sure you didn't miss a moment of our coverage. Get your motors running, kids! We're in for a wild ride!
Synopsis
Nicolas Cage is one of the coolest actors of this era and if you don’t agree, you can go straight to Hell. Oddly enough, that’s just where Cage comes back from as John Milton, the “badass mutherfucker” who burns rubber through Drive Angry (review here) this weekend.
That's right, kids! It's time for lucky number seven! Strap in for yet another sliver of badassery from Patrick Lussier's much anticipated Drive Angry 3D!
Look for it this Friday at a theatre near you!
Dread hit the red carpet premiere of Summit Entertainment’s Drive Angry 3D (releasing wide this Friday, February the 25th) last night at the Arclight in Hollywood, CA, and brought back some ocular candy and video from the event (see our interview with star Nic Cage below) as well as interviews with the flick’s principal cast and crew.
It's almost here, kids! Drive Angry 3D will be crashing into theatres via Summit Entertainment on February 25th, 2011, and we've got six clips to get your motors running!
While we certainly for the most part don't give the slightest shit about sports around these parts, we always tune in for the big games. Why? The commercials, man! They rock!
Just in case you're not convinced yet that Drive Angry is full of all sorts of awesome, we have for you today another new TV spot, this one entitled "Ride", that reminds viewers the film was indeed "Shot in 3D" - no BS post-production conversion here!
