World War II and Dracula. Two things that go together like Rankin and Bass, peanut butter and jelly, me and my profound curiosity as to why men have nipples. Either way, we've got some nifty new sales art for ya!

As if being the owners of the Taj Mahal (the real one, not the Donald Trump version) weren't enough to be proud of for the people of India, they will soon have their very own version of Dracula, being produced in the Malayalam language, to enjoy. And of course it's in stunning 3D!

We've seen many various retellings, reimaginings, and retreads of the famed tale of Dracula, which was originally penned by the legendary Bram Stoker. Everything from cartoons to pornos, but now? Now the original fanged fiend goes to war!

Nearly three and a half of the dullest hours of my entire award-watching life just transpired as the 69th Annual Golden Globe Awards is history. Sadly, our genre only took home two awards this year, but they were well deserved!

When you think of some of the most beloved and enduring characters in the history of the horror genre, Dracula has to be somewhere near the top. Certain entities are just synonymous with everything that we love as horror fans, and the original fanged fiend definitely fits the bill. The good news? We may be seeing a lot more of him.

Universal is celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2012 and will commemorate its centennial with a yearlong celebration honoring the studio’s rich film history and cultural legacy, which, as every horror fan knows, includes a plethora of genre films. A significant element of the centennial includes the extensive restoration of 13 of the studio’s most beloved titles, 6 of which are near and dear to our hearts.

Words alone cannot fully express to you how long I've been hoping to write this news story. If there's one thing that Blu-ray has been missing, it's a nearly thirty-foot aquatic eating machine with rows and rows of razor sharp teeth. Oh,mand some classic monster movies. Looks like all that is about to change.

Well then. After watching the latest incomplete (some visual effects are pending) leaked trailer for Dario Argento's Dracula 3D, one thing is abundantly clear: The maestro still loves his gore!

Renfield: The Un-Dead had its long awaited home video release earlier this week, and in honor of the occasion Melissa Nichols, one of the film's producers who also worked as production designer, art director, and special makeup effects artist/creature effects assistant (and had a small role in the film - talk about wearing a lot of hats!), sent over a batch of behind-the-scenes lobby cards for us to share.
