‘Wendell & Wild’: Spooky Stop Motion Film From Henry Selick and Jordan Peele Reveals Its Cast [Video]

The director of The Nightmare Before Christmas is harassing the power of Jordan Peele for a brand new stop-motion adventure. Henry Selick will direct Wendell & Wild, a dark and whimsical Netflix film based on a script by Peele and Selick. The title has been in development as early as 2015.

Here’s what Netflix has to say about the project.

From the delightfully wicked minds of Henry Selick and Jordan Peele, comes Wendell & Wild, an animated tale about scheming demon brothers Wendell (Keegan-Michael Key) and Wild (Peele) – who enlist the aid of 13-year-old Kat Elliot – a tough teen with a load of guilt – to summon them to the Land of the Living. But what Kat demands in return leads to a brilliantly bizarre and comedic adventure like no other, an animated fantasy that defies the laws of life and death, all told through the hand-made artistry of stop motion.

Meet the cast of the film coming to Netflix this October:

The exciting cast includes Keegan-Michael Key as Wendell, Jordan Peele as Wild and Lyric Ross as Kat. Other stars include Angela Bassett, James Hong, and Ving Rhames.

Lastly, are you as psyched to check out Wendell & Wild as we are? Let me know over on Twitter via @joshkorngut. I’m always around to chat all things Jordan Peele.
