Dina Meyer and More Piranha Bait Gets Cast

Alex Aja’s 3D Piranha redux already has an eclectic cast going for it with the announcements of Elisabeth Shue, Ving Rhames, Adam Scott, and a special appearance by Richard Dreyfuss. Now more piranha bait is entering the water, including a former Starship Trooper.
Bloody Disgusting got word from a tipster that Dina Meyer, a victim of giant bugs in Starship Troopers and a victim of a Jigsaw stand-in in Saw IV, is now poised to be victimized by man-eating prehistoric piranhas.
Also testing the waters will be child actress Brooklynn Proulx (now there’s a name that just tells you her parents were plotting her child acting career from the moment of conception), Riley Steele (no clue), and Quinn Lord, an actor horror fans will become quite familiar with in the near future as he’ll be seen in both the long-awaited Trick R’ Treat and Joe Dante’s The Hole.
Piranha 3D begins filming next month in Arizona with March 19, 2010, already penciled in for a release date.
