While Halloween 3D is currently sitting on the backburner, production is imminent under the guise of Patrick Lussier. He’s got some other projects to tackle before cleansing Haddonfield of its unfortunately while trash palette, but that hasn’t stopped Lussier from lining up his ranks, beginning with a familiar face for the FX work.

As fast as things were cooking is as fast as they've slowed down. Well, shut down temporarily at least. Production on Halloween 3D has ceased, but not to worry ... it's for a few good reasons.

Looks like we'll be diggin' on The Road about a month later than we all expected as Dimension announced today that the film's release date has been bumped to November 25th instead of its original release date of October 16th.

It looks like a very unhappy Halloween for Bob and Harvey Weinstein and everyone over at Dimension. It seems the studio is bleeding out and not in the fun way that we're used to seeing up on the big screen.

Malcolm McDowell is the man. No one can dispute that. So it’s no surprise that his return to the character of Dr. Loomis is one of the few highlights in Rob Zombie’s Halloween II. Dread Central was on hand with a roundtable of journalists to hear the legendary actor spew his usual brand of wit and sarcasm.

Dread just got back from the world premiere of Rob Zombie's Halloween II (held last night at Mann's Chinese in Hollywood, Ca) as well as the ensuing after-party which took place at Mood on Hollywood Boulevard, and while it really wasn't much of a work night for this scribe, I figured I’d be remiss if I didn't provide at least a bit of ocular coverage.
