Xombie Headed to the Big Screen?

Looks like after a bit of a bad spell zombies are once again gaining momentum in Tinsel Town, catching up with the vampires who have been ruling the proverbial cinematic roost. As big fans of the living dead, this brings more than just a little smile to our collective faces. If you've never heard of James Farr's Xombie, then, brother, you have been missing out! Halo-8 Entertainment is kicking copious amounts of ass when it comes to the innovative animation technique known as "illustrated filmmaking", and upon completion of their recently announced upcoming Loaded Bible project, they will next be producing the horror/sci-fi adventure Xombie: Reanimated created by James Farr.

A bit of Hack/Slash news has trickled in regarding the big screen adaptation of the Devil's Due comics. Looks like the project has finally nabbed itself a director.

Since Devil’s Due Publishing started doing their own Halloween books a few years back, ignoring most of the sequels and especially the remake, at least fans of Michael Myers know there’s one place where their favorite boogeyman stays true to his roots.

Devil's Due Revives Classic Halloween

Thirty years have passed since a certain killer donned a William Shatner mask and started hunting down young people in Haddonfield. A number of sequels and one remake later, fans still want more of the classic than anything else. They're gonna get it.

Seeley & Yuzna Talk Hack/Re-Animator Crossover

When it was initially announced that Herbert West would be finding his way into the Hack/Slash come the series' 15th issue, I thought it brilliant. Recently Newsarama sat down with Brian Yuzna, director of the last two films and the man who effectively owns the rights to the West character, and Hack/Slash creator Tim Seeley to discuss why this crossover just make so much sense.
