Sisters DVD Art

Sisters DVD art! (click to see it bigger)The folks at Image Entertainment have got some pretty cool box art together for their upcoming release of Douglas (“Cutting Moments”) Buck’s Sisters redux, which gets the direct to DVD treatment on March 11th, 2008.

Sisters is a remake of Brian DePalma’s 1973 film of the same name, this time focusing on reporter Grace (Chloe Sevigny) who witnesses a woman committing a very strange murder. She decides to look into the case more deeply and ends up finding out about an insane asylum and the woman’s once-conjoined twin.

The DVD will come with commentary by Buck, a behind the scenes featurette, deleted and extended scenes, a slide show and a still gallery. Personally I was hoping for a theatrical run for this one, but since the DVD was announced back in October no plans for it’s release have changed. Ah, well, at least we’ll all get to see it at the same time.
