One of the many cool things about Paranormal Activity's success is that the supernatural subgenre is roaring back in a big way. I’m sure every major studio in Hollywood is looking through their scripts to find comparable material. Overseas the doors are opening as well with one such flick, The Possession of David O'Reilly, well under way!

Haunting Kira Trailer Rises
If this trailer is any indication of the finished product, the indie zombie/ghost/possession flick Haunting Kira looks like it could be a pretty fun ride. We've been deceived before, to be sure, but I'm curious to see more of this one. Come inside and check this one out.

Paramount Confirms Paranormal Activity Theatrical Release Date?
The excitement is building around Oren Peli's Paranormal Activity, and as a result there seems to be a new news story about it almost every couple of days. The latest one comes from the official Paramount website on a page which is no longer active (weird). On it, it stated the film would be beginning a limited theatrical run on September 25th.
