Deep Silver has done it again! Their upcoming Risen 2: Dark Waters is an epic pirate journey through the open sea full of treacherous, man-eating sea creatures! This game will bring all new meaning to "sleeping with the fishes." And that is just what you will end up doing if you don't watch your back in Risen 2: Dark Waters!

Ever since the cinematic trailer for the video game Dead Island (review here) appeared online, two things have happened: one - we fell crazy in love, and two - talk of a movie began immediately. Looks as if those initial reports are now more than just talk.

Imagine you’ve saved for months and months and you’re finally able to take that vacation to a tropical island paradise like you’ve always dreamed of. You start packing your bags and your head gets filled with thoughts of white sand and fruity cocktails with paper umbrellas in them. Your plane hits the ground, and after checking into your hotel, you head off to the beach when all of a sudden you’re being swarmed by dozens of bloodthirsty zombies. I hate it when that happens!

The release of one of the single most anticipated horror video games of the year is finally upon us, and we have a release trailer locked and loaded for you to get you pumped up for all of the zombie killing you'll be doing next week! Dig it!

Dead Island. This game just cannot get here fast enough. It may be a long way down the road, but the good folks over at Deep Silver have announced just what gamers can expect should they pre-order from GameStop.

While most of us in the US were relaxing on this Memorial Day, eating our hot dogs and hamburgers and remembering those who’ve given their lives in service of our country, the good folks at Deep River/Techland were busy dropping cover images of the highly anticipated game Dead Island into the spiderweb-covered mailboxes of Dread Central.

More images from Dead Island were released today by Deep Silver, and this time we get our first look at rapper Sam B! A one-hit-wonder rap star of fading fame, Sam B was booked by the Royal Palms Resort Hotel to perform his well known song "Who do You Voodoo?" at a high profile hotel party. He gladly took the chance to play this gig.

Deep Silver held a press event in the UK for a select handful of journalists to preview the much anticipated game Dead Island. As a result the company released some new screenshots including a shot of Xian Mei, their assassin class character, fighting the Ram enemy (which we've already seen) along with two other in-game shots set in the Resort portion of Banoi.
