Just got a heads up from the folks at Dark Sky Films that Ti West’s 80’s-era House of the Devil has officially wrapped! Wow seems like just the other day we were putting up a story about it being announced…

Exclusive: Bowen Talks House of the Devil!
Towards the end of our most recent Dinner for Fiends (hear it here), I managed to squeeze some info out of our guest star, A.J. Bowen (pictured, sans beard, from his latest film Maidenhead), about his upcoming role in Ti West’s House of the Devil, a movie he seems very happy to be doing.

Bowen Residing in The House of the Devil
Probably one of the best interviews I’ve ever done, not because I was exceptionally good but my subject was, was with The Signal star A.J. Bowen (hear it here!). I want nothing but the best for the bearded badass, so the news that he’ll be appearing in Ti West’s The House of the Devil fills me with joy.

Event Report: Eerie Horror Film Festival 2007
As the doors closed at the Erie Playhouse late Sunday night, it marked the end of the Eerie Horror Film Festival’s fourth and most successful year to date. Groups of friends, old and new, gathered in huddles exchanging emotional goodbyes and promises of next year’s event. For those of us who were involved in the inner workings of the fest, the locking of the doors behind us was bittersweet.

North Carolina Gets Fatale
I’m not sure what much there is to do in North Carolina, but I do know that residents in or near Durham are going to be in for a treat starting next month when The Carolina Theatre of Durham begins its Femme Fatale Film Series.
