David R. Ellis
Ladies and Gentlemen! In this corner standing near seven feet tall, wearing a white mask to disguise his hobo beard ... Michael Myers! And his opponent, fighting out of the netherworld, wearing a black robe and floating on air ... Death! Come this August 28th, the box office battle begins.
Looking to pencil in some dates on your horror event calendar? Good! Because New Line dropped some info on us that you're not going to want to miss.
I’m not sure just how firmly rooted in our genre this one will be, but it’s a new film from Snakes on a Plane and Final Destination 2/4 director David R. Ellis, so if nothing else it’ll be fun. Actually, anyone who's seen Asylum (DVD review) can make a good argument why it may not be, but I digress.
Reelz Channel got a behind the scenes look at David R. Ellis' Final Destination 4 while it was filming in New Orleans.
Just got our hands on the red band trailer for David R. Ellis’ follow-up to Snakes on a Plane, the college-kids-in-peril film Asylum. MGM will release Asylum on DVD this July 15th, so click here to pre-order it. Obviously since this is a red band trailer, you may not want to watch it at work, unless your co-workers are into this kind o’ stuff of course.
Director David R. Ellis (Snakes On a Plane) has his work cut out for him. He has to find a way to top all the badass carnage we've seen throughout most of the previous Final Destination flicks. OK, to be honest ... he really only has to top the car crash in FD2. Is that possible?
I think Final Destination 4 may give us what #3 lacked. Well, that's wishful thinking, but the race car crash that kicks off Death's latest patch-n-fix job better be more thrilling than the yawn-inducing roller-coaster fiasco.
Word came down via Variety today that the cast for David Ellis’ Final Destination 4 has been chosen, with shooting set to start in New Orleans next month. The sequel, you may recall, will be filmed in 3-D.
