We walk a fine line at Dread Central as far as deciding what's horror, what's sci-fi, and what's enough of a hybrid to warrant our covering it. Considering the novel Daemon bills itself as "a harrowing journey through the dark crawl spaces of the modern world," we thought its film adaptation merits at least a mention.
Wow, it’s all about literary adaptations this morning, eh? Which I have to say is a welcome change from story after story about remakes... Variety reports that David DiGilio has been tapped by Dreamworks to pen the screenplay for The Damned, which started life as a graphic novel from Oni Press written by Cullen Bunn and Brian Hurtt.
