Event Report: The 2011 Eyegore Awards Celebrate the Best and Brightest of the Horror Genre

This past Friday night, September 23rd, the Halloween season officially kicked off in style with the 2011 Eyegore Awards held at the Globe Theater at Universal Studios in Hollywood as part of the opening night of Universal's Halloween Horror Nights. Hosted by genre veteran and previous Eyegore winner Corey Feldman (who was joined on stage by a wisecracking zombie scarecrow), many of horror's biggest names came out to celebrate our favorite time of year and pay homage to several of the genre's biggest contributors and newcomers alike.

Scream 4: Quick Peek at Some Bloody Deleted Scenes

With the release of Scream 4 onto Blu-ray and DVD rapidly approaching (review coming soon), screeners are going out to media outlets, and the enterprising lads over at Scream Trilogy nabbed a couple of screen grabs from the bloody deleted scenes and posted them. Dimension Teases Scream 5

Yes, Scream 4 was a disaster at the box office, raking in only a fraction of its budget. Still, that's not stopping Dimension from taking to Twitter to start teasing a fifth entry into the franchise. "How much do you love @Scream4? How badly do you want #Scream5? Come up with a clever tweet and we'll RT!" challenged the official Dimension Films Twitter account.

More on the Scream 4 You DIDN'T See

And by "didn't see" we're talking about stuff that was changed in the final cut of the film and not stuff you just didn't bother going to the theatre to check out. Will we get an extended cut on Blu-ray? Given Scream 4's box office performance (or lack thereof) we'll find out soon enough.
