On the fence about tuning in to ABC this coming Sunday, October 23rd, for the series premiere of "Once Upon a Time"? We're planning to check it out based on the cast alone, but we know some of you need a little more convincing. How about watching the first nine minutes of the episode to help you make up your mind?
"Buffy" alum Emma Caulfield is heading back to TV, albeit briefly, in an upcoming episode of ABC's "Once Upon a Time", and instead of an inappropriate ex-vengeance demon, this time around she'll be playing a witch.
And the guest list keeps growing for ABC's upcoming "Once Upon a Time" with genre favorite Brad Dourif being the latest to sign up for a stint on the show. He'll appear as a beggar who befriends the evil Rumpelstiltskin (Robert Carlyle).
Although Paula Marshall originally had the part, word has come down that Kristin Bauer van Straten ("True Blood"'s fan favorite Pam) will now be portraying Maleficent, the evil sorceress from Sleeping Beauty, in one episode of ABC's upcoming "Once Upon a Time". She'll appear in Episode 2, airing Sunday, October 30th.
We've been on the fence about ABC's fairy tale based "Once Upon a Time", but some recent casting news has us a bit more interested. David Anders, Uncle John from "The Vampire Diaries", and Paula Marshall ("Californication", I Know Who Killed Me) have signed on for roles in the show along with "Breaking Bad"'s Giancarlo Esposito.
Yep, it's that time again. Time for us to remind those of you not watching "The Vampire Diaries" that you're missing out on one of the best, most unpredictable genre shows on TV. Coming up next week vamps, witches, and lycans prepare to do battle in the season's penultimate episode, "The Sun Also Rises". The question, however, is on whom is it about to set?
We love getting new info on upcoming episodes of "The Vampire Diaries", but with Season Two winding down in just a few weeks, we're tempted to tell The CW to SLOW DOWN a bit with the goods and let us savor the time we have left. Alas, we doubt they'd listen anyway so here are close to a dozen stills from the upcoming Episode 21, "The Sun Also Rises", the next to last ep of the season.
Can Katherine ever be trusted? Will the Salvatore brothers be able to count on her as part of their alliance against Klaus? Check out this new clip from the upcoming Episode 17 of "The Vampire Diaries", entitled "Know Thy Enemy", and see what you think.
We're less than a week away from the return of "The Vampire Diaries" on The CW, and to celebrate, the network has released an extended video preview of the upcoming episode entitled "Know Thy Enemy" to go along with the regular preview we've already seen. Just beware - Everything you know is about to change.
We're getting closer to the April 7th return of "The Vampire Diaries", and to celebrate, The CW has provided us with a fresh batch of stills from the upcoming Episode 17, "Know Thy Enemy". Good advice whether the world's oldest vampire is on your tail or not!
A few weeks back we posted a couple of cast member interviews from the indie horror flick
The Revenant (review here), and we pick up our Indie Horror Month coverage today with an interview with the film’s director, D. Kerry Prior.
We're heading into the home stretch of the second season of "The Vampire Diaries" with its return to the airwaves on April 7th, and now finally comes the synopsis for Episode 17, "Know Thy Enemy", which in typical "TVD" fashion raises more questions than it answers.
Undoubtedly, the heart and soul of The Revenant are best friends Bart (David Anders) and Joey (Chris Wylde) but as the saying goes, for every good man there’s an equally good woman (or two in this instance) behind them. Balancing out the testosterone on the set of the film were actresses Jacy Gross and Louise Griffiths.
In 2009 I had the pleasure of checking out The Revenant during the Screamfest Film Festival. Directed by Kerry Prior, the film stars David Anders, Chris Wylde, Jacy Gross, and Louise Griffiths and is centered around Bart (Anders), a soldier who is killed overseas in Iraq.
As those who watched last night's "The Vampire Diaries" are well aware, things are changing in Mystic Falls, and if showrunner
Kevin Williamson's comment that "we end a chapter in the next three episodes" is any indication, we ain't seen nothing yet. Maybe this preview of Ep. 13, "Daddy Issues", will provide a hint of things to come.
