Dark Water

In early June we got the first word on Swedish thriller Dark Water, and now that Yellow Affair has acquired sales rights to the flick, hopefully we'll be able to see it sooner rather than later!

Let's clear this up now... This is not a remake of the chilling Japanese film Dark Water, nor is a retread of the horrid U.S. remake of the chilling Japanese film Dark Water. The Swedish people have an all new beast here. One that's pretty damned handy!

From the deep brine terror of the Ring films to the rain-soaked streets of Chaos, it’s obvious the Japanese filmmaker has an issue with liquids. And nowhere is it more evident than in the highly-touted Dark Water, which has finally emerged from the murky depths and onto DVD.
